“Died Young Stayed Pretty“ peels back the paper curtain and looks behind the scenes of the underground poster movement. These graphic banditos roam the streets, plastering their work to every available surface. Under the guise of advertising rock shows, these unheralded masters of the silkscreen and xerox machine carry on public discourses on the merits and pitfalls of fried cheese and gritty porn.

I was not too sure what to expect since commercials are pretty lame, but damn this was funny, especially whe the awkward little girl breaks out the pink balloon. I did watch this because the last ad they did you may remember, you know, the gorilla playing drums to Phil Collins track.

USA channelhas gone a given the “Character approved” award to San Diego native Shepard Fairy. YOu know, the artist that did the famous Obama poster. This video is a nice vignette on the artist in the studio.
